József Attila Ifjúsági Klub
Who we are?
We are enthusiastic students who would like to take care of the entertainment and further education of the Hungarian students studying in Bratislava.
What are we doing?
We organize and make events. Our aim is not to profit but to build the collective body. Moreover, we collect information for the future university students and inform about contests and job advertisements, as well.
Why are we doing it?
So that we could remain proud of being Hungarian in the Slovak capital and in order to establish a place where the students can meet. The entertainment and friendship are important just as well.
What kind of events do we have?
Besides the Hungarian party and the students’ ball we try to enrich the college students’ everydays by film clubs, dance-house, theatre performances, sightseeing tours, Passport-evenings and excursions. Among the last years’ events we can highlight the BIKINI-concert and the meeting with the Hungarian reporter and writer TVRTKO VUJITY.
The initials of JAIK symbolize the following concepts:
Jótékonyság (charity)
Akciók (events)
Ismerkedés és információk (making acquaintance and information)
Kultúra (culture)
Why is it good to become a JAIK-member?
The active membership offers plenty of possibilities. There is a wide range of courses, summer camping and a chain of summer universities for all those who help the activity of our organization with their work. Whoever would like to join us is welcome in our nice little team. At our place even a meeting is a party.
